How they’re made

No molds-off-a-shelf here. Each one is built in layers, by hand, so no two pies come out exactly alike.

The crust
Wax is poured into a real pie tin and crimped by hand into that wavy, golden edge.

The filling
Cherries, peaches and apples are sculpted one by one, then glazed until they look juicy.

The crumble
A sugar-and-crumble topping goes on last, plus the fragrance that makes the whole room smell baked.
